Even the high-end octos of most dive manufacturers cannot match the performance of our most affordable Atomic Aquatics Z3 Octo. That's because Atomic doesn't cut corners — like the entire Atomic Aquatics Octo line, the Z3 is a clone of the Z3 primary second stage, so you can pair it confidently with any Atomic Aquatics primary and know it will perform reliably and effortlessly.
Z3 Zirconium Octo
Atomic Aquatics engineers developed a unique Zirconium-over-Chrome-over-Brass plating process to deliver corrosion resistance 3-4 times that of conventional chrome plating. The Z Series second stage lever, orifice, and spring are titanium, delivering the natural, easy breathing that's the signature of every Atomic Aquatics regulator.
The Z3 Octo incorporates the same patented features that make Atomic's primary regulators the best in diving — AFC Automatic Flow Control and the Titanium Seat Saving Dynamic Orifice — identical to the Z3 primary second stage. It just looks different, with a high-visibility neon yellow cover and an extra-long 36" hose.
