The Akona 5/3mm Hooded Vest is the serious warmth layering solution for cold water diving. The dual-thickness design puts 5mm Quantum Stretch neoprene where you need it most — the hood — and 3mm in the torso for a balance of warmth and freedom of movement. Quantum Stretch neoprene moves with you rather than fighting against you, making it dramatically more comfortable than standard neoprene for repeated dives. Wear it under a 5mm suit for Great Lakes, cold Atlantic, or deep springs diving.
