Nitrox Diver Course
Our NAUI Nitrox course is a comprehensive 3-hour evening program designed for certified divers who want to extend their bottom time and reduce nitrogen exposure. The course includes eLearning, followed by in-person classroom instruction at Depth Finder’s Scuba—no dives are required. You’ll learn how to analyze gas mixtures, plan nitrox dives, understand oxygen exposure limits, and use your dive computer with enriched air. This course is ideal for divers exploring wrecks, doing repetitive dives, or preparing for advanced or technical training. Upon completion, you’ll be certified to use EANx mixtures up to 40% oxygen anywhere in the world.

Advanced Course - Blue Grotto
Our NAUI Advanced Open Water Diver course takes you beyond the basics with real-world dives in the Florida Keys, local springs, or the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll complete six dives focused on buoyancy, navigation, night diving, and deeper profiles—up to 130 feet. We keep classes small, emphasize dive safety, and tailor the experience to your goals and comfort.

What are the Requirments?
To become a NAUI Open Water Diver, you must be at least 15 years old (10-14 year olds can earn a Junior certification) and be able to swim. You'll need to complete a NAUI Open Water Diver course, which involves classroom sessions, confined water (pool) dives, and open water dives. During the course, you'll learn about dive equipment, physics, physiology, the environment, and essential dive skills like buoyancy control and underwater navigation. You'll also need to demonstrate your skills and knowledge through practical assessments and a written exam.
